Frequently Asked Questions

How do I rent a unit?
Rental of a unit is usually quick and easy. Call ahead and we will meet you at the office, complete all necessary paper work, program your gate code, and supply the key to your unit. Most rentals can be completed in about 15 minutes. We will need your current address, phone numbers, email (if applicable) and a gate code you can provide. (We prefer a 5-6 digit code.) You will also need to provide a user name and password to access your account online. We will pro rate the first month and charge $30 deposit at the time of rental unless the rental is after the next months billing cycle, then rental amount will be the pro rate of days left in month, deposit and next months rent. We accept cash, check, Mastercard, Visa or Discover. After rental account is set up you can then set up automatic payment using Mastercard, Visa, Discover, ACH or you can use the Paypal payment option.

What size units do you have?
We have a variety of units sized from the smallest, 5'x10' to the largest 10'x30'. We also have climate controlled units sized from 5'x10' to 10'x30' for a more specialized and cleaner environment. What is climate control?
Climate control units are inside a building that is heated and cooled to control humidity and keep belongings cleaner. Buildings are entered through an outside walk through door then units are accessed from a common hallway. Our climate controlled buildings are keep between 55-78 degrees. Most people use climate control for finer furniture or belongings that need a greater degree of protection.

Can I rent or reserve a unit on line?
We are working toward reservations online but right now call ahead and we will gladly reserve any available unit for a $30 reservation fee that will be applied to the first months rent at time of rent up. The reservation fee will hold unit for one week.

What kind of access do I have?
After initial rental of any unit at our facility you will be given an access code to the front gate which will give access 24/7. You will also receive a key to the secure lock that comes complementary with your unit, these locks cannot be cut off and provide more security for your belongings.

Do you have storage for RVs, boats, campers or cars?
Yes we have a dedicated building for boats, campers, cars and RVs. The building is in a separate location and very secure, gated with security alarm and 24/7 access. Call us for more information.

Do I need a lock?
No we provide a specialized locking system on the doors to all units. Upon rental you will be given a complementary key to your unit.

Is there a deposit?
Yes upon rental we charge a one time refundable deposit of $30. Deposit is returned after check out when all belongings are removed, unit left clean and key returned.

How secure is your facility?
We endeavor to provide a high level of security for our customers. Our entire grounds are fenced and gated. Each customer has their own specific gate code for 24 hour access. We also have security cameras and the facility is well extremely lighted at night. 

Tearms of Lease?
We have a minimum of a one month rental, afterward it is a month to month lease.

How do I move out?
When your decide to vacate your unit simply remove all items, sweep the unit broom clean, and upon final exit of the main gate drop key through the drop slot of office door located just outside the main gate. There are envelopes in a container on outside of the office door, drop key in the envelope, provide address and unit number, drop envelope through the slot in the door. Your deposit will be promptly returned after inspection of unit.  

Do you provide insurance?
No by law we cannot insure what is stored upon the premises. Some home owners or rental policies provide insurance for belongings stored in self storage facilities, however it is the renters responsibility to insure what is kept here. 

How do you bill?
We bill all customers on a monthly basis. Our billing software generates your invoice 7 days prior to actual due date. All rental fees are due on the 1st of each month. You can receive your invoice in a variety of ways that is most convenient for you, paper bill by US mail, email, or text or a combination. Our billing process is just a reminder all fees are due each month regardless of receipt of notice. Any change of address must be provided by customer.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, money order, personal check, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, ACH, and Paypal. There will be a $20 service charge for any returned check.

Do you charge late fees?
Yes there will be a late fee of $30 added to any unpaid balance after 30 days. Gate access code will be blocked at this time until account is brought current.

Do you have any auctions?
Yes from time to time we do have auctions of delinquent units. We make every effort to reconcile with our customers but sometime we must recover our space. All auctions are advertised 2 weeks prior in the legal notices of local newspaper.
